Michael Warren is a renowned artist who has been creating outstanding works for over forty years, specialising in paintings of birds in their natural habitats. He has designed stamps, had seven books published and worked with conservation organisations. He is a member of the Society of wildlife Artists.
This exhibition will include paintings based on drawings from his latest book ‘TAKING FLIGHT’, and also feature original sketches from the book. The book, signed copies of which will be available, describes in sketches fifteen years of observations at Langford Lowfields in Nottinghamshire. The site is a sand and gravel quarry being transformed into a major new RSPB reserve.
